Matt Barnes Comments on Incident with Derek Fisher in Instagram Post

Days after getting suspended by the NBA for two games due to his role in an altercation with New York Knicks head coach Derek Fisher, Memphis Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes discussed the incident in an Instagram post.



The 35-year-old veteran made mention of several trials and tribulations he faced in 2015 with a special emphasis on the situation involving Fisher:

Last BUT NOT LEAST... Being stuck in the "triangle offense" w my ex & snitch, I mean former teammate & friend.. Who went behind my back, messed w my ex, got caught, got dealt w for being a snake, then ran & told the Police & NBA.. Instead of taken that ass whoopin like a man & kept it moving....!

WHERE THEY DO THAT AT?

Guess cause I didn't SNITCH, I get a 2 game suspension by the league "They call that LIFE"

According to ESPN.com, Barnes' suspension was handed down on Dec. 28, nearly three months after he got into a fight with Fisher at the Los Angeles home of Barnes' ex-wife.
