Los Angeles Lakers Rumors: Ramon Sessions Will Turn L.A.’s Season Around

As "difficult" as it was for superstar Kobe Bryant to accept the departure of his decade-long backcourt counterpart Derek Fisher, the acquisition of Ramon Sessions is the replacement that the Los Angeles Lakers needed to become contenders in the West. 

It's hard to believe that Sessions will be able to do more throughout his career for the Lakers organization than Fisher did. Sessions doesn't care about that, and neither does Los Angeles. He just wants to win games. 

"Derek Fisher was a great guy for this organization. I'm not here to replace Fisher," Sessions said. "I'm just here to do whatever they need me to do and try to win games."

He did just that in his debut with the Lake Show on Friday in a 97-92 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, as he finished with seven points, four rebounds and five assists in 19 minutes of play.

The Lakers have severely missed the offensive explosiveness that Sessions brings for some time. L.A.'s offense has been a lost cause this season, but the arrival of Sessions will help greatly.
