Los Angeles Clippers forward Lance Stephenson was reportedly on the trading block earlier this season, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports.

Continue for updates.

Clippers shopped Stephenson in November Monday, Dec. 7 Per Spears, the Clippers were seeking interest last month from other teams for Stephenson and power forward Josh Smith. Both are in their first year with the team.

Stephenson was traded in June from the Charlotte Hornets and has two years and $18.4 million left on his current deal, per Spotrac, which makes him an unfavorable trade chip—particularly given his offensive figures.

Stephenson is shooting 42.9 percent with 5.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists in 19 minutes per game.

His playing time has been quite sporadic as well. He played a season-high 30 minutes against the Phoenix Suns, then wasn’t used at all versus the Golden State Warriors a week later, leaving questions about what the Clippers deem his role to be.

The Clippers are 12-9, sitting in fifth in the Western Conference, and clearly see they need to improve if they hope to climb up the standings.
