Lakers vs. Celtics 2010: The X Factors

Throughout every crucial game,  there is always one player that steps up and outperforms his standard expectations.

In tonight’s Game Seven, there is an X factor for both the Lakers and Celtics.

 

Lamar Odom

Everybody knows that Lamar Odom is always the X factor for the Los Angeles Lakers. When Odom produces efficiently, the Lakers usually end the game victorious.

During the Finals Odom has averaged one more point per game in Lakers wins than during losses. Although not very impressive, Odom has the potential to break out for a big performance during any game and is bound to have a solid one tonight.

With the championship on the line and Andrew Bynum lingering with a knee injury, the Lakers most certainly expect Odom to play 30+ minutes and contribute at a high level.

 

Rasheed Wallac e

Even though Wallace has been somewhat of a disappointment after being signed last offseason, there isn't a more perfect time than now for him to step up and prove his true worth.
