Knicks Fan Who Cried When Team Drafted Kristaps Porzingis Now Has His Jersey

It's funny how things turn out.

Back in June, this kid was among many New York Knicks fans upset with the team for taking Latvian forward Kristaps Porzingis with the fourth overall pick in the draft. Now, some Knicks fans view the rookie as a big part of the franchise's future.

Let's see what Porzingis had to say on 98.7 FM radio about a month ago about the fan, per Ian Begley of ESPN.com:

It's safe to say, judging by the jersey, the crying Knicks fan has been won over.

This is why it's important to not get carried away one way or the other on draft night. Let the players play before making a judgment. New York fans can't help but be impressed by their team's first-round pick so far—and now many of them feel silly for ripping the Knicks on draft night.
