In the first marathon game of the 2015-16 NBA season, the Detroit Pistons beat the Chicago Bulls 147-144 in quadruple overtime Friday night at the United Center.

Chicago's Jimmy Butler scored a career-high 43 points, while Andre Drummond led the way for Detroit with 33 points and 21 rebounds.

It was the first 30-point, 20-rebound game by a Piston since Dennis Rodman in the 1990-91 season, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

How big of a night was it for Drummond? He played almost half of his minutes under the threat of fouling out, per SB Nation's Detroit Bad Boys:



While the contest was finishing up, the Golden State Warriors were looking for revenge against the Milwaukee Bucks. Frank Madden of Brew Hoop commented on the absurd Bulls-Pistons game while the Warriors were struggling at home versus the Bucks:
