Kings Suspend DeMarcus Cousins Indefinitely for Conduct Detrimental to Team

The Sacramento Kings have suspended DeMarcus Cousins for an indefinite amount of time after a row with head coach Keith Smart. 

Sam Amick of USA Today reported the following on the center’s conduct and suspension.

Sacramento Kings announce they've suspended DeMarcus Cousins "indefinitely for unprofessional behavior and conduct detrimental to the team."

— Sam Amick (@sam_amick) December 22, 2012 Cousins has averaged 16.6 points and 9.5 rebounds for the Kings this season. He has a history of character issues, and this latest incident will add to that reputation.  

The former Kentucky standout immediately showed upon arriving in the NBA in the 2010-11 season that he is an immensely talented low-post player, but also has a volatile personality.
