Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant is dealing with a toe injury that has forced him to miss one game so far. It is uncertain when he will be able to return to action.

Latest on Durant's Playing Status Tuesday, Jan. 5 Thunder head coach Billy Donovan said Durant's status against the Memphis Grizzlies is unknown, per Royce Young of ESPN 

Health Issues Continue to Mount for Durant During his first seven years in the league, Durant missed a combined total of 16 games. The All-Star forward was a pillar of consistency both in terms of health and performance.

Then, he missed 55 games in 2014-15 after persistent foot injuries necessitated three different surgeries over a six-month span. With Durant out of action for so long, the Thunder missed the playoffs for the first time since moving to Oklahoma City.

The scariest aspect of Durant's foot issues is that they're the same kind that have consistently dogged Brook Lopez over his career. Lopez has struggled to stay healthy over the past five years, and many wondered if Durant would encounter similar hurdles.
