Jordan Hill Injury: Updates on Pacers Center’s Finger and Return

Indiana Pacers big man Jordan Hill is nursing a dislocated right ring finger. It is uncertain when he will return to the lineup.

Hill Ruled Out For Remainder of Game Wednesday, Feb. 10 The injury occurred in the first half of the Pacers' clash with the Charlotte Hornets and forced Hill back to the locker room, according to the Indianapolis Star's Candace Buckner.

The Pacers' official Twitter account later announced Hill wouldn't return. 

Hill's timetable for return has yet to be determined, but any sort of extended absence would put the Pacers in a bind as it pertains to frontcourt depth. At present, Indiana is rolling with a four-man platoon consisting of rookie Myles Turner, Lavoy Allen, Ian Mahinmi and Hill. 

Fortunately for Hill and the Pacers, the All-Star break is fast approaching and should afford the big man plenty of time to recover. Following Wednesday's game against the Hornets, the Pacers won't be back on the floor again until Friday, Feb. 19, when they travel West for a showdown with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
