John Wall Reportedly Fires Agent Dan Fegan: Latest Details, Comments, Reaction

Washington Wizards superstar John Wall reportedly fired his agent, Dan Fegan, on Tuesday, according to sports and entertainment attorney Darren Heitner.  

Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post confirmed the report.

Heitner also noted that his sources indicated Wall was leaning toward signing with Rich Paul, LeBron James' agent.

One of the factors in the decision may have been that Wall has been a "sneaker free agent" since Sept. 30, when his contract with Adidas expired.  

“My main focus is just play basketball. I let my agents and marketing team and them negotiate and talk,” Wall said at the time, per Castillo. “I’m just trying to focus on the season and not worry about what’s going on off the court and play basketball.”

Wall also had some interesting comments to make about the five-year, $80-million contract extension he signed two years ago in July.

"People talk about me getting $80 million, now you got people getting $85 million that haven't made the All-Star (Game) or anything like that," Wall said, per J. Michael of CSN Mid-A ...
