Under Mike Woodson last season, center Jason Collins saw little playing time with the Atlanta Hawks. But with Woodson gone, and new coach Larry Drew in, Collins decided to re-sign with the team.
Collins only played 24 games last season, tallying a combined 16 points and 14 rebounds for the season while averaging 4.7 minutes per game.
The 7-foot, nine-year veteran will help add depth and also become a helpful back-up to the team alongside Josh Powell.
The team's big men dominance depends on whether or not they sign Shaq.
