The San Antonio Spurs (29-6) used a huge third quarter to pull away from the Houston Rockets (16-19) on the way to a 121-103 victory at the AT&T Center.
San Antonio had three players reach 20 points, with a fourth dropping 18. LaMarcus Aldridge led the way with 24 points on 10-of-16 shooting. Kawhi Leonard added 22 on 8-of-12. Boris Diaw had 20 off the bench. And Danny Green dropped 18, hitting 6-of-8 from three-point range.
The Rockets were led by Dwight Howard, who had 22 points on nine shots to go with 12 rebounds. James Harden added 17 on 6-of-10 shooting.
The season series is now tied 1-1, with the next game in San Antonio on January 27.
