Hawks-Magic: NBA Playoffs Second Round—Bring Out the Brooms, Hawks Won’t Win One Game

You know, there is this part of me that wishes that the Atlanta Hawks had lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round. That way, I wouldn’t have to be toyed with by them and the Orlando Magic now. All I hear on TV, mostly on ESPN, is how the Hawks are an AAU team. Not that I am upset with ESPN or anything because it’s true. With the way that Atlanta plays anybody could make this team. All I kept seeing in Game 3 on the Hawks team was dribbling around for ten seconds, trying to play 1-on-5, force up a shot, and rarely get an offensive rebound. That is pretty pathetic for an NBA team. And it’s not like the Hawks are some scrub team. They won 53 games this season, swept the Boston Celtics, had two All-Stars, and the Sixth-Man of the Year. What is going on?!!!!!!!!!! Where are my Atlanta Hawks? Why do they continue to disappoint? What a waste of 53 wins. A waste of what they have putting together in recent years. It is like a nightmare. The vision of making it back to being a contender in the NBA seemed to be complete. The only problem is the timing.
