Dwyane Wade: Why Miami Heat Superstar Was in the Right Against David Stern

The Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade got in a verbal confrontation with NBA Commissioner David Stern during labor talks on Friday. Wade got “angry” when Stern started to point his finger at Wade during his verbal spout. Wade did what any millionaire superstar should do in that situation, and that is stand up for himself.

Not in too many cases can an employee stand up to the boss, but not too many cases involve millionaire superstars. He can do whatever he feels like doing; he is Dwyane Wade, after all.

"Don't point your finger at me!" the Heat guard yelled at Stern. "I'm not a child." This came after Wade, LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony threatened to leave the meetings early. Players Association executive director Billy Hunter reportedly talked them into staying for another hour.

Maybe Wade did more than he thinks bringing this out to the public like it did. Maybe Stern will feel pressure to get this deal done because more people are talking about it now.
