Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry missed all four of his three-point attempts in the first half of Wednesday's 127-107 win over the Dallas Mavericks, thus ending his 36-game streak with at least one three-pointer made before halftime, per ESPN Stats & Info.
Naturally, Curry then sunk all three of his shots from beyond the arc during the third quarter, helping the Warriors extend a 56-48 halftime lead to 95-77 by the start of the final quarter.
The Mavericks did put up more of a fight than most opponents manage at Oracle Arena despite playing without star forward Dirk Nowitzki, who was held out to rest in the second game of a back-to-back, per Earl K. Sneed of the Mavericks' official website.
Per ESPN Stats & Info, Curry's ongoing streak of 117 straight games with at least one three-pointer made is the second longest in NBA history, trailing only the 127-game streak Atlanta Hawks guard Kyle Korver had from Nov. 2012 to March 2014.
