Cavs 114, Clippers 90—Final

Behind a 27-point effort from LeBron James, the Cleveland Cavaliers throttled the Los Angeles Clippers 114-90 on Sunday at Staples Center.

James buried a trio of three-pointers—his most since Feb. 10—and also dished five assists, helping Cleveland (47-18) catch fire from long distance.

J.R. Smith and Channing Frye each drilled five long-range attempts on their way to scoring 17 and 15, respectively. Kyrie Irving added 17 points and five assists.

Los Angeles (42-23) started quickly and earned a 17-7 lead, but the bench faltered once Chris Paul and J.J. Redick checked out. The Clippers simply couldn't recover from Cleveland's 30-6 first-half run.
