Carmelo Anthony: Who Is Denver Trying To Dump In His Trade?
The Nuggets have made no secrets about their desire to move Carmelo Anthony. The small forward will be a free agent this year and he has a desire to play in New York. However, Denver would likely force teams to take on other big contacts to pry Anthony out of Denver.
The Nuggets will attempt to include Al Harrington’s five year $33 million contract in any trade for Anthony. They could also try to include Renaldo Balkman in the trade as well.
Any team that wants to get Anthony’s services this year would likely have to take on over $24 million in 2010-11 salary. It would take a large package of contracts to make that sort of deal happen.
