Brandon Roy: Is Shooting Guard Done For The Season?

A few short years ago, Brandon Roy was considered one of the premier shooting guards in the NBA. Many thought he was a hero when he returned just eight days after knee surgery to play in the 2010 playoffs for the Blazers. Know it looks like that decision is catching up with the guard.

Brandon Roy will be out for an indefinite period of time while he suffers from knee pain in both knees.

“I can tell you it will most likely be for an extended period," Blazers GM Rich Cho said, according to the paper. "We've talked about (ending his season) and it's a possibility, but we want to explore a couple of other things first."

Honestly, the Blazers need to shut down Roy for the rest of the year and pray that all his knees need is time off because otherwise they could be looking at the bottom half of the Western Conference for the near future.
