Carmelo Anthony Compares Cavaliers’ Drama to Knicks’ Situation

New York Knicks All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony isn't in a great situation at the moment. His Knicks have lost 21 of their last 27 games after a 22-22 start to the season, making this the third straight year in which they'll miss the playoffs.

When asked Wednesday how the Cleveland Cavaliers' drama compares to that of the Knicks', Anthony drew a stark contrast, per ESPN.com's Ohm Youngmisuk: 

[The Cavaliers'] drama is more comical. It's more getting off of Twitter. Know what I mean? It's always something that they blow up. Him unfollowing the organization. Him shutting his Twitter down. It is always something over there along those lines.

Over here it's drama, a different type of drama over here.

The Knicks fired head coach Derek Fisher in early February, and rumors have swirled about Anthony's future with the team, per ESPN.com's Ian Begley. In addition, team president Phil Jackson is reportedly mulling over the possibility of coaching home games next season, per ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.
