The Chicago Bulls' Taj Gibson earned a flagrant-1 foul in the second quarter of Game 1 of his team's opening-round playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks for elbowing the Bucks' O.J. Mayo on Saturday.

After Gibson secured a defensive rebound, he tried to prevent the steal by swinging his elbows. Unfortunately for him, his right elbow caught Mayo above the shoulders.

The referees went to the monitors and assessed Gibson a flagrant-1 foul. Mayo made the two ensuing free throws, and the Bucks got the ball.
