Bryce Dejean-Jones Injury: Updates on Pelicans G’s Recovery from Wrist Surgery

New Orleans Pelicans guard Bryce Dejean-Jones will be sidelined indefinitely after suffering a fractured right wrist.

Pelicans Need to Replace Dejean-Jones in Starting Lineup Thursday, Feb. 25 On Thursday, New Orleans announced the injury will require Dejean-Jones to have surgery Friday morning, and a timetable for his return will follow.

The rookie out of Iowa State has played in just 14 games this season, starting 11 and averaging 5.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per contest.

Prior to joining the team, Dejean-Jones spent time with the Idaho Stampede of the NBA Development League. He went undrafted but was a member of the Pelicans’ 2015 Las Vegas Summer League team, where he averaged 12.8 points per contest and knocked down 50 percent of his three-point attempts, per the team's official website.
