Stephen Curry Breaks Kyle Korver’s Record for Consecutive Games with 3-Pointer

Basketball fans often use the phrase "He's putting up video game numbers" when a player finishes with an impressive stat line, but it has reached the point where video games are likely jealous of Stephen Curry's production.

The Golden State Warriors superstar added another line to his incredible resume Thursday when he set the NBA's all-time record for consecutive games with a made three-pointer. Curry has now hit a three in 128 straight contests following his long ball in the first quarter against the Orlando Magic:



Curry's streak started Nov. 13, 2014, during a 107-99 victory against the Brooklyn Nets in a season that saw him win the MVP Award and bring an NBA title to Golden State.

Atlanta Hawks guard Kyle Korver had previously held the record after drilling a three-pointer in 127 consecutive games between November 2012 and March 2014. Korver passed former Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics guard Dana Barros, who made a three-pointer in 89 straight contests between 1994 and 1996.
