Bradley Beal Injury: Updates on Wizards Star’s Pelvis and Return

Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal suffered an injury to his pelvis against the Indiana Pacers Saturday and would not return.

Beal Sprains Pelvis on Hard Fall Saturday, March 5 The Wizards reported Beal was doubtful to return, and the guard would not make it back on the court. 

Beal suffered the injury after taking a hard fall under the basket.



This is yet another blow for Beal after he already missed time earlier in the season with a shoulder injury, leg injury, broken nose and concussion. He played only 63 games last season and 56 games in 2012-13, and he has been hampered by physical setbacks throughout his career.

This is also difficult news for the Wizards in their battle for postseason positioning in the Eastern Conference. Beal is the team's second scorer alongside John Wall in the backcourt and stretches the defense with his perimeter shooting. He scored 15.3 points per game last season and is posting 18 points per game during the 2015-16 campaign.

Only Wall is as talented as Beal in the Washington backcourt, but ...
