Jimmy Butler had 19 points and 10 assists, Derrick Rose added 18 points and the Chicago Bulls handled the Boston Celtics, 101-92, at the United Center on Thursday night for their sixth straight win.

The Celtics got off to a pretty good start, taking a 41-31 lead during the second quarter.

However, the Bulls closed the half on a 17-6 run to take a one-point edge into halftime.

Chicago then proceeded to dominate the third quarter, holding Boston to 16 points and opening up an 11-point advantage heading into the fourth period.

The Bulls were never in any real danger over the final 12 minutes.

Butler struggled with his shot, going just 5-of-14, but he made some fine passes and played some great defense.

Rose showed shades of his old self at times, twisting and contorting into the lane for acrobatic layups. He went 9-of-16 from the floor.

Chicago shot just 41.5 percent as a team, but it held Boston to a 35.7 percent clip.

Jae Crowder led the Celtics with 17 points.
