Atlanta Hawks Favored by 6.5 Against Golden State Warriors Tonight

The Atlanta Hawks will go for their ninth straight win at home when they host the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday at Philips Arena.

The Hawks come into the game off an impressive 95-80 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday, and have now won three of their last four. The Warriors are also playing good basketball right now, as they beat the Philadelphia 76ers 110-95 on Monday for their third consecutive win. Taking a look at the NBA spreads for tonight's game, the oddsmakers have the Hawks favored by 6.5-points over the Warriors at home.

The Warriors three game surge matches their longest winning streak since April of 2009. Getting their fourth consecutive win figures to be a bit of a challenge. Golden State is just 4-12 on the road this season,  including a 2-10 run in their last 12 away from home.

The Warriors however seem to be clicking offensively right now. Monta Ellis had 22 points and 12 assists against the 76ers, and is averaging 33.4 points and 7.6 assists in his last five games. Ellis had scored at least 36 in each of the Warriors previous three games.
