Shooting guard Arron Afflalo figures to be a key part of the New York Knicks' success in 2015-16, but his tenure in the Big Apple hasn't gotten off to an ideal start due to an injury.

Afflalo Out for Wednesday's Preseason Game with Hamstring Injury Tuesday, Oct. 6 According to ESPN.com's Ian Begley, Afflalo missed his fourth consecutive practice Tuesday as he continues to work through a hamstring ailment.

Per Marc Berman of the New York Post, the injury will keep him out of Wednesday's exhibition contest against Brazilian squad Bauru Basket and, potentially, out of Friday's game against the Washington Wizards as well.

The Knicks are taking it slow with Afflalo as he has been walking with a limp, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News.

The 29-year-old guard was viewed as a strong fit in New York since his shooting and versatility should play well in the triangle offense and also because he played alongside Carmelo Anthony with the Denver Nuggets.
