Anthony Davis Injury: Updates on Pelicans Star’s Concussion and Return

New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis suffered a head injury Monday against the Houston Rockets.

Davis Ruled Out for Remainder of Game Monday, Jan. 25 Davis, who was diagnosed with a concussion in the third quarter, had scored nine points and secured six rebounds in 19 minutes before exiting. Davis was inadvertently hit in the face by teammate Tyreke Evans' elbow, per Adam Wexler of KPRC-TV.

This latest setback comes after the All-Star suffered a back injury Jan. 8 against the Indiana Pacers after chasing down a loose ball. Davis saved it before tumbling into the crowd:



He missed two games as a result of the injury. 

Davis dealt with a couple of nagging injuries early this season: a right hip injury and a left shoulder injury in November.
