February 17th, 2010 by Michael Schwarzbaum Leave a reply »
Antawn Jamison has just been dealt to the Cleveland Cavaliers as a part of a six player trade.

The Cavs acquired him, along with Sebastian Telfair from the L.A. Clippers.

The Clippers acquired Drew Gooden from Cleveland.

The Wizards acquired Al Thornton, Brian Skinner, Zydrunas Ilgauskas , and Cleveland's first-round pick.

This trade seems to have been a money saver for the Clippers, as they are trying to free up money for the free agent class of 2010.

The Cavaliers have strengthened an already impressive team, further solidifying and imprinting their name among the league's elite.

The Wizards are just trying to start anew, amid the Gilbert Arenas saga.

This is expected to be one of the many interesting trades as the deadline approaches.
