Stephen Curry Comments on Potentially Participating in NBA 3-Point Contest

One of the best three-point shooters the game has ever seen is interested in defending his three-point contest title at All-Star Weekend this year.

On Monday, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry spoke with Fox Sports' Brett Pollakoff about participating in the competition Saturday, Feb. 13, in Toronto:

Most likely. I've done it three straight years and finally won one. Knowing I'll be there already, I'll probably suit up Saturday night and see if I can defend it. It's a gym I've gotten a lot of shots up in growing up, with my dad playing up there for three years. So, it'll be a pretty special spot to lace 'em up and shoot some threes.

Curry won last season's event in record-breaking fashion, recording 27 points.



Through 46 games this season, Curry has drained 221 three-pointers, which leads the league. He's only 66 threes away from breaking the record he set last year.

He topped the league in made three-pointers in each of the last three seasons and already ranks 26th on the NBA's all-time list. That's impressive considering he's only 27 years old and is entering his best years. ...
