Brooklyn Nets Pay Tribute to Deceased ‘Superfan’ with Custom Warmups

The Brooklyn Nets organization honored superfan Jeffrey Gamblero, who died on Sunday night at the age of 38, on Thursday night.

Before their game against the Miami Heat, Nets players and staff wore these customized warmups to honor Gamblero. The shirts featured the No. 44 in neon colors as a nod to Gamberlo's customized jersey and bright shirts he would wear underneath.

The Nets also tweeted a photo of the players and fans at Barclays Center, who honored Gamblero with a moment of silence.
