I only ask because that is exactly what happens when you watch a little kid in a team jacket fist-bumping his heroes as they leave the ice.
HockeyWebCast’s Robert Soderlind uploaded video of a young Boston Bruins fan having a moment with his team's players Tuesday. He waited patiently by the tunnel as the Bruins ended their pregame warm-ups, making sure each player had a proper send-off.
Fist Bump Kid started with a strong hand-mashing from Gregory Campbell, whose porridge was a bit too hot.
The tiny fan shook it off, literally, and slipped into a smooth procession of bumps and greetings. It was efficiency at its most endearing.
My only question is, can we have Fist Bump Kid at every hockey game? Can we dress him up in matching team jackets and plant him right next to the tunnel? Such a measure would increase adorability in professional hockey by tenfold.
