The shorthanded Chicago Bulls continue to defy injuries and pile up wins. On Saturday, without the services of Joakim Noah, Carlos Boozer and Kirk Hinrich—to go along with the season-long absence of Derrick Rose—the Bulls (29-18) took down the Hawks (26-20), 93-76, in Atlanta.
Chicago opened up a 24-17 lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Hawks rallied to lead 44-43 at the half. It was all Bulls defense from that point.
The Hawks scored just 16 points in each of the game's final two quarters.
The Bulls have now won six of their last eight while the Hawks have lost nine of their last 16.
