Charlotte Bobcats rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was carted off of the court in a stretcher after suffering an apparent head injury during Saturday night’s contest in Houston.

Rick Bonnell, Bobcats beat writer for the Charlotte Observer, noted he was wearing a neck brace as he was being taken from the court (via Twitter):
