NBA Rumors: Talk of Tracy McGrady to Chicago Bulls Resurfaces

It looks like Tracy McGrady is back into consideration as the Bulls' backup shooting guard.

ESPN.com reported that the “Bulls haven’t ruled out T-Mac ” following Eddie House’s signing with the Miami Heat.

With roughly $3 million in cap space and only 11 players under contract, the Bulls had their eyes locked on House, who is a lethal gunner from the three with a 39 percent shooting.

House was one of the Bulls’ prime options, but his movement to Miami leaves the Bulls with Roger Mason Jr., Keith Bogans, possibly a trade for Rudy Fernandez, and, yes, T-Mac.

Many thought the T-Mac talks died after his poor showing at the Bulls’ workouts and his controversial quotes that reinforced his self-centeredness.

Sources who watched McGrady at workouts said he shot the ball well, but wasn’t in tip-top shape.
