2010 NBA Summer League: Chicago Bulls vs. ‘Blazers Game Recap

The Chicago Bulls end the NBA Summer League ending with a record of 1-4 after losing to the Portland Trailblazers 83-69 today.

Early in the game, Portland got a big lead which  carried them through the other three quarters. However, the Bulls got close in a couple of occasions, specially in the third quarter, where they were able to tie the game 47-47.

Still, their efforts didn't last long when the 'Blazers went on a scoring run once again and quickly took another lead.

The Trailblazers kept adding to their momentum finishing with a strong fourth quarter. Portland simply out-hustled the Bulls, making hard turnovers to score easy layups and making difficult passes for easy shots.

 

Game Notes:

Luke Babbitt (who was called the most overrated prospect in this year's draft ) was definitely the MVP of the game, hand down, scoring 22 points, four rebounds, and four steals. He hadn't performed that well in past games, but he played outstanding ball tonight, helping the Blazers get the W.
