NBA Free Agency: Will Rudy Fernandez Stay In Portland Next Year?

Rumor has it that Rudy Fernandez is being traded or possibly released from the Blazers now that Free Agency has started. If you ask me, there is a 100 percent chance that Fernandez won't be donning the Blazer uniform come next year.

For one thing, Fernandez hates living in Portland—and he certainly hasn't made the effort to keep quiet about it. He's even gone so far as to complain about being lonely with the Blazers. Without his former teammate and best friend, Sergio Rodriguez, chances are he hasn't had a shoulder to cry on either.

Where Fernandez plays next is an unanswered question.

The Raptors want a three point shooter off the bench, and Fernandez could easily fill that position for them. Unfortunately for Fernandez, the Raptors also just got Barbosa from the Suns and they might not need him after all. 

The Rockets did want him, but with a couple good shooting guards like Ariza and Miller, Fernandez wouldn't really be of any use to them. 

The Rockets and the Raptors are the only teams to really contend for Fernandez, and it seems that neither will go the extra mile to actually sign him.
