The Chicago Blackhawks knew they would meet greater resistance from the Minnesota Wild in Game 2 than they did in the first game of the series.

Despite a better defensive showing early on by the Wild, the opportunistic Blackhawks took advantage of their opportunities and rolled to a 4-1 victory. The Blackhawks lead the series 2-0, and the third game will be played in Minnesota on Tuesday night.

Patrick Kane scored two goals for the Blackhawks, while Jonathan Toews and Patrick Sharp also scored. Matt Dumba scored the lone Minnesota goal.
