Video: NHL’s 25 Hardest Hits of the Season

If you've ever laced up the blades and played hockey, chances are you've been hit.

Sometimes the hits come from incidental contact while everyone is chasing that little rubber puck around. Other times, it could be a full force hit as another player from the opposite team hits you as hard as he can.

Either way, a hit is a hit. Some hits hurt, others not so much. One thing is for sure, a good hit will stop you in your tracks.

I put together a list of 25 hardest hits so far this season, but I could have made it the top 1,000 hits.

Some of the names you'll seen in this slide show are amongst the league leaders in hits, such as Francis Bouillon of the Nashville Predators, currently the league-leader.

I didn't rank any of these hits, instead I'd like your reaction as to what you think was the hardest hit amongst these videos.

For extra fun I've included tributes to two of the league better hitters: Dustin Brown of the Los Angeles Kings and Cal Clutterbuck of the Minnesota Wild. I hope you enjoy these. Thanks to those who put them together.
