Tonight, I have a few key notes to give to fans:

Avalanche goalie Craig Anderson injured his knee in the pre-game warm-up. It could be his ACL. Await updates.  Note that if this injury is a torn ACL, expect Anderson to be gone for the season, perhaps longer.

Scott Hannan returned to the Avalanche. He took two big Alex Edler shots to the leg.

The Canucks scored on Peter Schaefer's first of the season on that shift.

Roberto Luongo continues to let in a lot of goals, three tonight, but managed to get his second win of the season to tie Cory Schneider at two apiece.

Jeff Tambellini fits in seamlessly with the Sedin twins on offense. He is very intelligent and you can see that he has a great shot and good speed. Tabmbellini scored the opening goal for the Canucks.

The Avalanche could potentially lose the following players after tonight's game to injury:

G Craig Anderson—Knee

D Scott Hannan—Leg

D John-Michael Liles—Separated Shoulder

C Paul Stastny—Concussion
