Tyler Seguin Injury: Updates on Stars Center’s Knee and Return

The Dallas Stars reportedly may be without center Tyler Seguin for the next three to six weeks. Seguin took a tough hit from Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov in the third period on Feb. 13 and sustained a knee injury that forced him out of the game.

Seguin Could Be Out 3-6 Weeks Saturday, Feb. 14 Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reported Seguin could be out for the next three to six weeks with a knee injury.

According to The Dallas Morning News, Seguin's teammates helped him off the ice.

Stars head coach Lindy Ruff talked about the hit that knocked the center out of the game, according to ESPN.com:

It's a dirty shot. You end up taking your best player out. Not only out of the game, but he's taken him out of the lineup for a little bit. We'll let the league deal with it ... It's just a shot that didn't need to happen.

Seguin's importance to the Stars can't be understated. He entered Friday night third in the NHL in goals (29) and points (59).
