Toronto Maple Leafs: Will Tyler Bozak Shine on Top Line?

The biggest question in Toronto this off-season has been "Who will play between Phil Kessel and Kris Versteeg when the season begins on October 7?"  Trade Rumours have placed Brad Richards, Marc Savard & even former Leaf Kyle Wellwood in that role but nothing materialized to be true.

Enter Tyler Bozak, the Leafs sophomore sensation, who piled up 27 points in 37 games as a rookie last season.  Will the sophomore jinx hit him or will he thrive on the top line?  I say forget the rumours and give the kid a chance! 

If Bozak can stay healthy he has the potential for a 60-plus point season.  In 2006-2007 while playing for the Victoria Grizzlies of the BCHL he tallied 45 Goals and 83 Assists for a total of 128 points in 59 GP's.  With the University of Denver he almost averaged a point a game (57 points in 60 games)  The potential is there and the stats prove it but will he be able to play to his full potential?  I think so!

If Bozak doesn't pan out, give another kid a chance!  After so many years of ignoring prospects in Toronto, it's time for a change!
