Toronto Maple Leafs Re-Sign MacArthur, Bozak, Lashoff & Sign Philippe Dupuis

It has been a pretty busy week for the Toronto Maple Leafs as they have re-signed three players and have added another. Clarke MacArthur, Tyler Bozak and Matt Lashoff return to the Leafs and Phillipe Dupuis signed as an unrestricted free agent.

The re-signing of MacArthur ended the speculation that he would be heading to arbitration as he was the player that Brian Burke kept on saying would be the hardest player to resign. Agreeing to a two-year deal worth $6.5 million, MacArthur now has the time to prove that least year's production wasn't a one-time occurrence.

After disappointing on the first line last season, Bozak signed for two years at only $3 million. With the pressure taken off him and most likely playing on the third line next season, Bozak should play better than he did last year and hopefully improve upon the minus-29 rating.

Lashoff spent most of the season in the AHL with the Toronto Marlies. He finished the season with the Maple Leafs, playing 11 games and registering one assist.
