You need to "know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away and when to run."  Kenny Rogers is famous for singing those words, but Brian Burke is playing the game as we speak!

Know when to HOLD 'EM—Tomas Kaberle is an asset Burke has held onto thus far.

Know when to FOLD 'EM—When the "No-trade" clause was lifted, Burke made it clear that he's listening, not shopping. He played the media card, letting the world know he's received four offers, one of which was insulting.

Know when to WALK AWAY—He's had offers, but nothing up to the level he wants for the smooth-skating defenseman , so he takes a step back and focuses on other parts of his GM duties for a few days.

When to RUN -This is what we are all waiting for, that offer that Burke can't resist.
