This may be the first time in a long time that fans of the Toronto Maple Leafs have a genuine sense of hope and optimism for the future.

Gustavsson, Gunnarson, Stalberg, Bozak and Caputi just to name a few, signify a real change not only with the on ice product, but within the entire organization as well.
Part of Brian Burkes' mandate when he took over was to change the age old thinking that polluted the entire Toronto Maple Leafs team for decades.
