Toronto Maple Leaf Fans: What Would You Do If You Were in Brian Burke’s Shoes?

The arguments are plenty, and range from expensive offseason free agent signings to offer sheets to slowly rebuilding by obtaining more high-end draft picks and prospects. But what is the right thing to do?

Toronto is the centre of the hockey universe, and if you listen to talk radio or look at the sheer volume of comments posted underneath online articles, it is clear that Brian Burke's job is under more scrutiny than almost any other person in this country.

So what should he do both for the remainder of the season and in the offseason?

We do know he needs a centre to play with Phil Kessel. We know that The Monster has played more like a teddy bear, so Toronto could use a goalie. Other than Kessel, the Leafs still don't have another top three winger.

Do the Leafs need to find a way to secure a first-round pick for the upcoming draft since they let theirs go to Boston in the Kessel trade? Should they find a way to land a top prospect from a team looking to improve quickly, such as Brayden Schenn?
