The top prospects in the 2016 NHL entry draft have made themselves known, and draft fans can rattle off a dozen names or more among the eligible players. Between now and the end of hockey season, we will see those prospects jockey for position at the top—and a few late-bloomers find their way into the first half of the first round.
Some of these prospects are earning their way up the draft charts with sustained quality in their league games and international tournaments. Others are showing exceptional growth in the latter half of the year and may be badly underrated on some draft lists.
