Taylor Or Tyler: Who Will The Oilers Take First Overall?

Certainly the debate of the season has to be who should be taken first overall, Tyler or Taylor? Only one thing has been determined so far: the Edmonton Oilers have the right to choose between the two.

 

While most scouts and fans alike would likely tell you that the easy choice would be to take Taylor Hall, it’s really not that simple.

 

Taylor Hall has certainly got the upper edge, but according to Central Scouting, Tyler Seguin is the better prospect.

 

Rated first overall, Seguin is said to have better overall potential, being a strong center as opposed to a winger. A good strong center is a lot harder to come by these days, and would be an asset to any struggling team.
