Marian Gaborik scored two goals and added an assist as the Rangers dominated from start to finish and defeated the Isles 5-0 at Madison Square Garden .  The Isles have been shutout in two straight games, tying the club record.  On to the trick:

1. The Rangers scored three times in the first 8:30.  Artem Ansimov and Gaborik scored even strength goals in the first six minutes.  Michael Del Zotto made it 3-0 8:30 into play with a power play goal.  The Rangers took 11 of 13 shots to start the game and outshot the Isles 15-10 in the first period.

2. Neither team scored in the second period, but the Rangers dominated play throughout most of the period, outshooting the Isles 14-1 to begin the period.

3. Gaborik's second goal just after the midway point of the third period gave the Rangers a 4-0 lead.  It was his 39th goal of the season, and his first multi-goal game since January 31; he now has three 3-point games in the last six.  Dan Girardi scored on the powerplay with less than four minutes to play for the final margin.
