Stanley Cup Playoffs 2015: Standings, Latest Round 1 Scores, Results and Odds

Each first-round series in the Stanley Cup Playoffs has begun. On Friday night, the series that began on Wednesday will hit Game 2. Three of those four games were decided by one goal, so more close contests could be on tap. Thursday's slate also featured more close games.

Here's a look at Thursday's results, as well as Friday's schedule, odds courtesy of Odds Shark and series standings. Just below the table is a look at Thursday night's biggest stars.



 

Pavel Datsyuk



The Detroit Red Wings seized the home-ice advantage on Thursday. Perhaps the biggest factor in the game was 36-year-old 12-year veteran Pavel Datsyuk. He had two goals to help strike down the Tampa Bay Lightning. He opened the scoring and then added the go-ahead goal on a power play in the second period. Shnarped Hockey caught his second goal just after the second period began.



He made the most of his 18:02 ice time by netting both of his shots on goal. The Red Wings lifer looks to be in good form for the series. Tampa Bay will need to make some adjustments if Datsyuk continues to aggressively ...
