We have seen to highly contested first two games in the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals, but the Chicago Blackhawks have managed to come out victorious in both games. There is a reason why the Hawks have won those two games.
They are just an all-around better team. Plain and simple.
Don't get me wrong, the Philadelphia Flyers are a great hockey team. Hell, if they weren't, they wouldn't be playing in the Stanley Cup Finals right now, but the sad thing is they are up against a superior foe.
The Hawks are playing like they are the better team. They aren't letting playing at home add pressure to the situation. Instead, they are playing a simpler style of game, getting shots and players to the net, hoping to light up the red light. Their style is working, and they now have a 2-0 series lead.
Now the Hawks are heading to Philadelphia for games three and four, hoping to at least steal one game in Philly. For the Flyers these two game sat home are crucial to them staying alive. One loss could spell doom for them. They and their fans know it.
